Nose went through an interesting evolution as it opened up. Notes of strawberry, violets, top soil, baking spice and a touch of manure.

Ripe and fruity but elegant. Strawberry, cranberry, touch of oaky creaminess, with some floral notes. Good acidity, smooth tannins, and a touch of heat.

Intoxicating! Nose is gorgeous. Flirty, swirling aromas of red raspberry, sour cherry, subtle vanilla, anise, clove... It doesn't quit. A firm bite, a bit grippy, but incredible age ability. — 11 years ago
