It could have been Mozart, or perhaps the Hawaiian sunset, however this effen killed tonight. Violets, dark chocolate, luscious blueberry, creme de casis, and everything melds harmoniously when it gets some air. Over the span of 95 minutes the wine evolved and enraptured, stunning really. This is JUST what the weatherman ordered. Decadent blend with power and finesse. 41% CS is the power however 26% CF and 21% Malbec are not to be silenced. Gorgeous color concentration, wonderful mouth coating fruit of black cherry, ripe plum, dark red cherry and dark chocolate. 8% Merlot and 4% PV bring a silky finishing texture that reaffirms why I effen love Guy Davis and his family's wines.
