Muni Montemagro Durello 2020

From the Durella grape, grown on veneto’s volcanic soils., often found in spumantes. Straw-greenish clear color; rich nose of red grape fruit, citrus, red apples, bees wax, and minerality; medium-high acids, marzipany-citrus taste with oranges and lemon (taste is not of tropical or ripe fruit) in a quite unique style. Interesting! — 8 months ago

Cuvée Jean-Louis Brut Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay Blend

This is a simple but very tasty, sparkling wine from France.

Showing citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light tropical fruits, honey and light minerals.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Refreshing with small bubbles.

Dry to off dry on the palate and fruit forward.

Nicely balanced and easy drinking.
Good by itself and a good Sunday sparkle.

11.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Montemagro Veneto Bianco Durello 2014

Incredibly fresh, strong acid and slightly tannic, citrus fruits and some minor oxidative notes, it reminds me a lot of savagnin from Jura. Very enjoyable, some fresh seafood with this vino would be perfect. — 8 years ago
