@delectable this is Domaine Saumaize-Michelin Pouilly-Fuisse Ampelopsis. Ampelopsis is only made from the best years, is a barrel selection from multiple terroirs, and sits on lees a year longer than typical Pouilly-Fuisse. Pretty fucking delicious Chardonnay. — 3 months ago

This could be a 10 in a 2-3 years from now. Tasted this in the barrel at the winery and now in the bottle. Classic Muschelkalk and E&M. My 13th vintage. Unbelievably drinkable - addictive. Unspitable. Dark cherries, black currant jam, hint orange blossoms. In the glass potpourri of herbs wild black forest oregano driven, morello and dark cherries, crushed marble, hint licorice. Like most E&M wines a unicorn wine and unlike any you have ever tasted. I feel sorry for the Michelin Restaurants who do not have this on their wine list. — a year ago
