WOW 2-19. A little green but with a lot of airing was a nice, fruit forward Pinot. Great buy at Cellar Rat store. — 5 years ago

Pretty much any chat-neuf will be delightful, and this was certainly wonderful.
It had the classic stone fruit and garrigue nose, clean tannins, medium mouthfeel with great length. It paired beautifully with our cognac and Dijon beef stew. — 3 years ago
La Côte de lAnge is not a top Ch. Neuf de P label. But it is a quality label of of the second tier that represents a good quality to price ratio. One would think that 2010 would be a high point, and maybe it is. But even 2010 is not a superior effort. Very intense, yet undefined, purple fruit and lots of menthol. It’s a pleasant and even intense drink. Nothing wrong. But not the highest expression of the terroir. — 5 years ago
Wild red fruits, spicy, light, greedy — 6 years ago
Dark berries with perfect bitter, alcohol-less finish. Slightly sweet, perfect acidity. Green pepper mentioned in description - I can taste that! Fresh, raw green pepper. Would buy again, would be a great gift too. — 6 years ago
Nice and clean mineral flavor with light fruity. Good price at Marcel's in Glen Ellyn — 7 years ago
Bright, juicy. Light, easy to sip on a warm spring day. As a solid burgundy should be. Might even be closer to California pinot in color — 8 years ago
C’mon! This is a great wine. I think some people worry about getting the best chat-neuf or the top-rated —these are wonderful wines built to be enjoyed. We actually had this with prime rib and horseradish sauce, with creamed spinach. It had plenty of power for the rich beef and enough finesse for the sides. — 4 years ago
Very smooth. Slightly sweet and fruity. — 5 years ago
£10 in Sains. Lovely. — 5 years ago
Initially short but after breathing was really full. Dry. Mild oak. Great at $5/bottle . included in Laitheaite’s initial offer. Let it breathe before drinking! — 6 years ago
A well made wine with 16 years of age? An extremely enjoyable experience. Shows the textbook signs of aging with beautiful faded coloring, sophisticated and round nose, and firm tannins. Despite its medium body, it’s relatively big and full bodied on he mouth. It has moved beyond the fruit that typifies CDR Village and onto more dry, refined, chateau Neuf du pape territory. Thoroughly enjoyable and drinking well now. — 7 years ago
Finally opened a bottle from Chateau Neuf de Pape--
fabulous trip on the Rhone. — 8 years ago
Lovely, engaging natural red wine. Deep red color. Burst if aroma. Tastes better after some airing. Has just a little bubble that strikes the tongue on first sips — 8 years ago

I very much enjoyed this as the different components had their moment to shine as wine opened up. — 3 years ago
