Château Mourgues du Gres

Galets Rosés Costières-de-Nîmes Rosé Blend 2022

Fawning over this sub-$20 rose. Light orange color but matches perfectly with an orange peel aroma mixed with white flowers and some white pepper. Really a pretty scent. Subtle flavors of strawberry and melon. Nice edge of minerality that comes through toward the end. Easy drinking and good tasting. Medium finish. — 9 months ago

Les Grès Costières-de-Nîmes Red Rhone Blend 2019

Eminently quaffable #costieresdenimes ; brier black/purple berries, cassis, soft spicy aromas, plush on palate with succulent acidity underlayment, dark cocoa and coffee notes mid-palate through finish, tannins that build deceptively with each sip. This could be even better in half a decade but delicious Rhône blend even today - 70% #syrah 30% #grenache . — 4 months ago
