These Jeff Carrel wines are outstanding values, and work great if you're in the mood for a cocktail wine. Very dense, low acid, but the fruit is so luscious and vivid. It drinks quite well, great job of managing the weight by the focus on vitality of fruit. — 4 years ago

This is a nice entry level Champagne.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity, and medium sized bubbles.
Showing limes, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, light brioche and minerals.
Medium finish with limes and almonds.
Tangy, easy drinking and not too bitter.
A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
12% alcohol by volume.

Quite different bubbles from this Special Club offering. And given the panel tests to make it into Special Club each year, like others , this does not disappoint. Crisp, citrus fruit driven. Delightful find. — 6 months ago
