Second tasting 10 months apart and always a favourite for me. CNDP with a northern character, red fruits, livelyness marked with notes of red fruit, cranberry, herbs, peppery, blood orange. Superb vivid material in the mouth, intertwining with intensity tannins and acidity. Even after 9 years it still seems very young and lively. Wine that may confuse some consumers in search of classicism.

Deuxième dégustation à 10 mois d’intervalle et toujours coup de cœur pour moi. CNDP au caractère septentrional, fruits rouges, vivacité marquée aux notes de fruits rouge, canneberge, végétal et poivré, orange sanguine. Superbe matière vive en bouche, entrelaçant avec intensité tanins et acidité. Même au bout de 9 ans ça paraît encore très jeune et vif. A very good quality/price ratio, beautifully illustrating the wines of Beaujolais as we like: crunchy on youth, with a very interesting development potential for this 2018 vintage, which can be kept and evolve favorably in the pinot-noir bourguignon style for at least 5 or 10 years. The mineral relief compensating for the few tannins extracted.

Un très beau rapport qualité/prix, illustrant magnifiquement les crus du Beaujolais comme on les aime: croquant sur la jeunesse, avec un potentiel de développement fort intéressant pour cette cuvée 2018, qui pourra se garder et évoluer favorablement dans le style pinot-noir bourguignon pour encore au moins 5 voir 10 ans. Pretty racy Morgon, intense and airy as we like. Deep ruby-Grenat colour (unfiltered). Nose a little "natural" that can bother the least used to without half an hour of aeration. Superb cherry, strawberry and red fruit notes, English candy, peppery, and light oaky touch in the distance. Gourmet and concentrated mouth, vegetable/red fruit/peppery finish, with a lot of freshness.

Jolie Morgon racé, intense et aérien comme on aime. Robe rubis-Grenat profonde (non filtré). Nez un peu « nature » qui pourra gêner les moins habitués sans une demi heure d’aération. Superbes notes cerises, fraises et fruits rouges, bonbons anglais, poivré, et léger boisé dans le loins. Bouche gourmande et concentrée, finale végétale/fruits rouges/ poivre, avec pas mal de fraîcheur. — 4 years ago

Very expressive aromas of flowers, some herbal notes, clearly whole clusters and a lot of fruit that we find also on the palate that is round, fairly supple of medium body at the most, nicely balanced, a few years in the cellar will do this wine so good but it is very enjoyable now. 89-90

We continue to discover Swiss wines on the spot .. Pleasant surprise with this beautiful Syrah. Very close to a Croze-Hermitage in design: Crunchy fresh black fruit, violet, licorice, herbaceous touch of mint and parsley, which makes this wine perfect on pasta-garlic-chili served with fresh arugula! Oaky tip well melted. Balance between freshness and density (medium). The honorable finish of duration .. this bottle at a reasonable price can certainly age favorably for two or three years minimum.

On continue de découvrir les vins suisses sur place.. Agréable surprise avec cette belle Syrah. Très proche d’un Croze-Hermitage dans la conception : Fruit noirs frais croquant, réglisse , violette, touche herbacée mentholée persillée, qui rend se vin parfait sur des pasta-ail-piment servi avec de la roquette fraîche! Pointe boisée bien fondue. Équilibre entre fraîcheur et densité (moyenne). La finale honorable de durée.. cette bouteille au prix raisonnable pourra certainement vieillir favorablement deux, trois ans minimum. — 6 years ago

Très belle couleur, un nez qui s'ouvre sur des fruits mûrs et un très jolie boisé comme très souvent sur cette propriété.
La bouche est ample et veloutée les tannins sont mûrs et la finale agréable mais un peu courte très belle bouteille qui pourra vieillir et devra être regoûter dans quelque temps. — 10 years ago

Beautiful bright garnet dress. Gourmet nose with many ripe and juicy fruity nuances (blueberry, blackberries, black cherries). Notes of white pepper, cloves, geranium, discreet aging between vanilla, coconut and smoke. The mouth is silky, of great purity. Alcohol is well tamed. It's very greedy, and the nuances are layered, developing on a nice finish. Xavier Vignon is definitely a master of blending (in addition to marketing). This 2015 is very lively, and can still be drunk for a few years. Unstoppable price/pleasure ratio.

Belle robe grenat éclatante. Nez gourmand aux nombreuses nuances fruitées mûrs et juteux (myrtille, mûres, cerises noir). Notes de poivre blanc, girofle, géranium, élevage discret entre vanille, coco et fumée. La bouche est soyeuse, d’un grande pureté. L’alcool est bien dompté. C’est très gourmand, et les nuances sont étagées, se développant sur une jolie finale. Xavier Vignon est décidément un maître des assemblages (en plus du marketing). Ce 2015 est encore d’une grande vivacité, et pourra encore se boire durant quelques années. Rapport prix/plaisir imparable. — 3 years ago

Pretty ruby dress with brillance. Open nose, very Burgundian, between red fruits (cherry) and toasted oaky notes. Mouth, consistent with the nose, delivering as you taste many aromatic nuances, undergrowth among others. A lot of freshness yet for this 2015, it can still be drunk and evolve for several years.

Jolie robe rubis avec de l’éclat. Nez ouvert, très bourguignons, entre fruits rouges (cerise) et notes toastées de fût. Bouche en cohérence avec le nez, délivrant à mesure de la dégustation de nombreuses nuances aromatiques sous-bois, entre autres. The elegant side of gamay. At the same time light, and with many shades. Rich notes of raspberry, floral, herbaceous etc. 2017 is beautiful and can still deliver beautiful surprises in the coming years. Magnum format ideal, for parties with friends.

Beautiful purple / garnet color. Fine and complex nose, fruity and floral: peony rose. Deep on the palate, somewhere between a beefy Burgundy Pinot Noir and a Syrah from Rhone-Nord; to be mistaken. At first glance discreet, the finish reveals itself on tender and finely persistent tannins. The whole is very homogeneous and dense. A wine with a Burgundy style, delicate, which will be able to age for a number of years.

Belle robe pourpre/grenat. Nez fin et complexe, fruité et floral: rose pivoine. Bouche profonde, quelque part entre un pinot noir bourguignon et une Syrah du Rhone-Nord; à s’y méprendre. La finale de prime abord discrète, se révèle sur des tanins tendres et finement persistants. L’ensemble et très homogène et dense. 2nd bottle and still so much pleasure. The well-worked Tannat grape brings notes of black plums; a mineral touch reminiscent of carbon or chemical smoke (not unpleasant), completed with a gourmet chocolate side, and notes reminiscent of pine or cedar sap or eucalyptus. The palate is supple and round with a lot of volume. The wine can still age for several years if we judge by the aromatic density. The tertiary woody touches are well melted, this is a good beefy and greedy bottle which will go as well with a chocolate desert as with a duck breast. Sweet and sour cooking will also go very well.

2eme bouteille et toujours autant de plaisir. Le cépage Tannat délivre des notes originales de prunes noires; une touche minérale rappelant le carbone, la fumée chimique (pas désagréable), complété d’un côté chocolaté gourmand, et des notes évoquant la sève de pin ou cèdre ou l’eucalyptus. La bouche est souple et ronde avec beaucoup de volume. Le vin pourra encore vieillir plusieurs années si on en juge par la densité aromatique. Les touches tertiaires boisées sont bien fondues. Un vin costaud et gourmand, qui ira aussi bien sur un désert chocolaté qu’un magret de canard. la cuisine sucrée/salée ou aigre doux ira très bien également. — 6 years ago

Dense ruby dress. Candied, roasted, spicy nose. In the mouth it is thick, with a soft touch. Notes of candied fruits, dried raisins, prune, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, licorice, mocha, flowers and perfumes.. great aromatic intensity. Do you like modern wines on purity and not very interventionist? It's pretty much the opposite! Can be associated with cheeses of character, as well as desserts. Last but not least, it is a wine that is self-sufficient and appreciates itself very well.

Robe rubis dense. Nez confit, torréfié, épicé. En bouche c’est épais, avec un toucher doux. Notes de fruits confits, raisin secs, pruneau, cacao, vanille, caramel, réglisse, moka, fleurs et parfums.. grande intensité aromatique. Vous aimez les vins modernes sur la pureté et peu interventionnistes? C’est à peu près tout l’inverse! Pourra s’associer aux fromages de caractère, autant qu’aux dessert. Grenache/Syrah blend, biodynamic style. Dark dress still young and lively. Cuvée with a medium plus body, with beautiful spicy and roasted notes that perfectly serve a fruity (black and red) still lively and juicy. It is both easy and refined. Refreshed a little, the 15 degrees are absolutely not felt. A wine that can please classic mouths as well as lovers of natural wines.

Assemblages Grenache/Syrah style biodynamique, naturel. Robe sombre encore jeune et vive. Cuvée au corps moyen plus, avec de belles notes épicées et torréfiées qui sertissent à merveille un fruité (noir et rouge) encore vif et juteux. C’est à la fois gourmand et raffiné. Rafraîchi un peu, les 15 degrés ne se font absolument pas sentir. Un vin qui pourra plaire aux bouches classiques comme aux amateurs de vins naturels. — 4 years ago

The bouquet is compact and consistent. The tannins are wide, and the acidity is medium. A wine on the scale that can withstand fatty and juicy dishes without any problem. Can age

Nez multi-dimensionnel annonçant une belle densité: notes vertes paradoxales de menthe, eucalyptus, puis écorces, puis résine, torréfaction, cèdre, vanille, enfin le fruit se révèle derrière les notes tertiaires et d’évolution (terre, humus, truffe). Le bouquet est compact et cohérent. Les tanins sont amples, et l’acidité moyenne. Un vin sur l’ampleur qui pourra supporter des mets gras et juteux sans aucun problème. Peut vieillir. — 4 years ago

Diolonoir: another grape variety typical of Switzerland. Dark and purple color, brilliant. On the nose, black fruits (blackcurrant) dominate. It's a superb balance between density and freshness. With a good length, this is a wine that can age pleasantly over 5, 8 years.
