Le Parc at Les Crayeres in Reims. From a deep list of aged options I went with one I’m less familiar with. I was not disappointed. Straw gold color. Minimal bubbles in the glass. Great nose that has a mix of fruit, minerals and bread yeast. Notes of apricot, tangerine, toffee and old stone floor. Rich in the mouth with subtle but very present acidity. With a few hours of air this gained amazing complexity. Great stuff. — 7 years ago

Delectable has identified this incorrectly. It’s the 2020 Domaine de Colonat Seigneurs du Beaujolais Morgon. Great nose features nose-tingly granite dust, plummy cherry fruit, and yeasty spicecake. Full on the palate (14.5), with a nice initial whack of very pure fruit and decent acids, but the back half gets a tad dilute and the alcohol starts to show through. — 4 years ago

Golden in color and taste!!! Aromas of lychee, pear, honey, honeysuckle, and roses. Just slightly sweet. Went great with our spicy Cajun Catfish tonight providing a great balance and cooling effect. — 5 years ago

Amazing. It's fruity, but I've felt only a sweet, ripe plum. But the best is the rest: spicy aromas with leather and smoke like from smokehouse. I simply love it! — 7 years ago
Le Parc at Les Crayeres in Reims. Light canary gold. Young and bright in the glass. Great Coche nose. Penetrating power. Notes of lemon, crushed rocks, petrol. In the mouth it’s rich but lacking the acidity and intensity I was expecting. Even after 3 hours of air, the structure was modest. It made this an easy to drink wine tonight, but with no acidity backbone this seems questionable for long term aging. Maybe just in a dumb phase but the Cochey nose was memorable. — 7 years ago

Last one? Still holding up well with dark fruited earthy notes and a robust firm texture that is very different from the Prestige bottle. This one has Syrah on top of Grenache and Mouvedre so there’s that — 5 months ago
