Delectable has identified this incorrectly. It’s the 2020 Domaine de Colonat Seigneurs du Beaujolais Morgon. Great nose features nose-tingly granite dust, plummy cherry fruit, and yeasty spicecake. Full on the palate (14.5), with a nice initial whack of very pure fruit and decent acids, but the back half gets a tad dilute and the alcohol starts to show through. — 3 years ago

Chilled and opened about an hour before dinner and allowed to gently come to temp. Served alongside charcoal grilled Thai sausage, sticky rice, coconut Thai curry, herb salad, shallot, lime, garlic, chiles. Straw color, off-dry and a perfect pairing with the first course. Lychee, honey, white flowers and great acid. This is the kind of synergy you dream for in a wine pairing. Drink now but I expect this will drink well for a long time. Quite possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with Gewurztraminer. — 23 days ago
