Beautiful Chenin Blanc. This wine needs at least 45 minutes to open up. Once it does it is so good. Complex flavor profile with slight oxidative notes, tropical fruit, and a flowery nose. — 8 months ago

Delectable has identified this incorrectly. It’s the 2020 Domaine de Colonat Seigneurs du Beaujolais Morgon. Great nose features nose-tingly granite dust, plummy cherry fruit, and yeasty spicecake. Full on the palate (14.5), with a nice initial whack of very pure fruit and decent acids, but the back half gets a tad dilute and the alcohol starts to show through. — 4 years ago
