La Côte de lAnge is not a top Ch. Neuf de P label. But it is a quality label of of the second tier that represents a good quality to price ratio. One would think that 2010 would be a high point, and maybe it is. But even 2010 is not a superior effort. Very intense, yet undefined, purple fruit and lots of menthol. It’s a pleasant and even intense drink. Nothing wrong. But not the highest expression of the terroir. — 3 years ago

Medium bodied. Bright red fruit. Slate and brett. Really nice. — 5 months ago
Pretty much any chat-neuf will be delightful, and this was certainly wonderful.
It had the classic stone fruit and garrigue nose, clean tannins, medium mouthfeel with great length. It paired beautifully with our cognac and Dijon beef stew. — 2 years ago
Very smooth. Slightly sweet and fruity. — 3 years ago
Initially short but after breathing was really full. Dry. Mild oak. Great at $5/bottle . included in Laitheaite’s initial offer. Let it breathe before drinking! — 4 years ago
Earthy and fruity. Funky with a mineral slightly salty taste. Little but if grapefruity taste. Slightly fizzy. — 6 months ago
C’mon! This is a great wine. I think some people worry about getting the best chat-neuf or the top-rated —these are wonderful wines built to be enjoyed. We actually had this with prime rib and horseradish sauce, with creamed spinach. It had plenty of power for the rich beef and enough finesse for the sides. — 2 years ago
£10 in Sains. Lovely. — 4 years ago

Gorgeous and silken, the 2019 Generation Dix-Neuf is a ball of beautiful, silky, concentrated Pinot Noir. Savory and smoky, it seems effortless, although it's clearly been anything but based on the impeccable quality. It caresses the palate. There's intensity and density here but no weight. The 2019 is a very complete wine that's still young. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)
