Good Les Demoiselles de Larrivet Haut-Brion Pessac Leognan 13 @, Pieroth, 231117 — 3 years ago
Really a Grand Vin de Bordeaux. You know that a flower was named after this wine? The Rose Demoiselles de Larrivet Haut Brion. How cool is that? — 8 years ago
Superb wine, a little young, strong tannins, rich body, deep red, strong currant, berry and soil flavors — 9 years ago
Loved my first sip of this. Have in my notes that I liked it less as I kept drinking, but then liked it again at the end. It’s pretty dry and you can taste the yeast. Definitely apple-y , I also get some grapefruit and pineapple. It has a bit of oak and minerality. Feels polished. Nice wine. — 5 months ago
Top notch — 5 years ago
Pretty nose of white flower, peach, lemon peel, star fruit, and petrol, with faint aroma of almond and honey. Palate is quite round and textured for a predominately Sauvignon Blanc (95% with the rest Semillon) blend that saw 11 months in barrel partially. Chrysanthemum tea like bitter sweet on the taste with a bit of saltiness. Clean but short finish. — 9 years ago
Fun. Tannins with medium fruit drive. Fig cigar dried cherry — 10 years ago
