La Brulade Bandol Mourvedre 2019

Difficult one, I guess that it needs more time in the cellar. Looks promising to me, time will tell — 11 days ago

Very generally speaking, I gravitate towards Bandol producers’ regular cuvées. Despite being majority Mourvèdre, they tend to be a bit softer and more accessible earlier than their “special” cuvées, which (again, generally-speaking) tend to be much more extracted, thus compounding Mourvèdre’s tendency to be tough when young.

It is good to put some Bandol in the cellar for 2040/2050 😏

Savory thyme sage notes, typical Provence olive and floral crushed lavender fill the air. Highest vibeyard in bandol delivers freshness and longevity.
