This was a superb village Burgundy that punched well above its weight. At first reticent, but opened up nicely to become a vibrant, acidic, fruity pinot noir that would probably benefit from some years lying down still. — 6 years ago

Concentrated and deep, with rich fruit, spice, and a bit of a funky savory character. Great minerality. A bit reductive - needs some time to open but it opens nicely. A brawny Burgundy and very good. — 2 years ago

Pop and pour. Purchased at domaine..weirdest tasting I've been to, but fantastic wines. On the nose: soft pepper, black raspberry, black cherry, nuits animale, soft spice. On the palate: dense NSG fruit. with loads of brambly blackberry, fantastic acidity, spicy sandalwood, and very finely grained tannin on the hi-toned finish. Yum! — 5 years ago
