The Master Distillers' Selection 37 Years Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

You can smell this from across the room and it lingers for what seems like an eternity on the palate. Incredibly rich, yet somehow perfectly balanced, take a sip and think on it for the next day or two. — 11 years ago

Château La Lagune

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2000

Powerful aromas of plums , tobacco and hints of brett leap at you like a dog welcoming its master as he or she walks through the front door at the end of the day. Silky fruit paints the palate. In a great spot now but no urgency of it going over the hill. — 8 years ago

Hair of the Dog Brewery

Adam From the Wood Ale

One of the greatest barrel aged beers around. So glad these are offered in only 12oz bottles and drinking one during a 30 degree night is much better than a hot summers day at HotD. Time was better spent drinking seasonable IPAs then tackling 12+% abv. Still though, top notch Alan don't change a thing. Raisins, anise, caramel, vanilla, and coffee after notes. Complexity - master level. — 9 years ago

Duke Alambic Pot Still Aged 24 Years Brandy

John Wayne's son, Ethan, teamed up with Jayson Woodbridge at Hundred Acre to crate this 80 proof homage to his 100 proof dad, who was a lover of great brandies and kept a stash of a few barrels on his boat, that has been sealed for 30 years. Duke Special Reserve brandy, made from a blend of the last two remaining 24 and 30 year-old barrels, produced by a 12th-generation master distiller. Originally distilled in an alambic pot still using seven fraction distillation. This is just spectacular stuff, as you would expect from a 24+ year old brandy. — 8 years ago
