Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

One of the better wines I’ve had recently. In a really good spot, aging gracefully, these are probably not getting any better.

Cherry, plum, chocolate. Perfectly aged Bordeaux.

My contribution to the 1St Saturday of month gathering. Really nice. Lots of barnyard, but acidity still there.

Powerful aromas of plums , tobacco and hints of brett leap at you like a dog welcoming its master as he or she walks through the front door at the end of the day. Silky fruit paints the palate. In a great spot now but no urgency of it going over the hill.

Excellent wine when you get the bottle wasn't so great by the glass

Should have given longer to open up. Was good but should have been great.

Classic claret aroma, a hint of barnyard. 2000 vintage. Will last another decade.
