Smooth, cherry, a bit of earth. Nice finish and complexity for a drinkable wine — 3 years ago
Slight funk on the nose with hints of mushrooms. Leathery with slight acid to finish. Not much tannins so really good with light beef dishes (carpaccio and Tartarus, etc…). Good wine to have for dinner parties. — 5 years ago
Mild fizz and big notes of dark fruit. Blackberries, figs, and some light tannins. Definitely a more serious wine than what Meinklang typically churns out. Tasty. — 6 years ago
Taste like strawberries 🍓. Lightly tannic. Light & bright. Good w/ or w/o food. Not funky, but tasty. — 6 years ago
Thanksgiving class. Refreshing wine to pair with dinner. Not too sweet. Crisp. — 7 years ago
St. Laurent is my new favorite red varietal. This one is super juicy and a pleasure to sip. Similar to Pinot, but a little rougher around the edges. Recommend! 11€ — 7 years ago
Outstanding like last time — 8 months ago
Bright red fruit flavors of cherry, cranberry, and raspberry, with a bit of earthy funk going on also. Dried autumn leaves on the nose. Appropriately, this would make a good wine for fall. (Too bad it's the middle of winter now!) 60% Zweigelt, 30% St. Laurent, 10% Blaufrankisch. 2/6/22. — 5 years ago
An excellent, unusual wine that paired perfectly with our Mille feuille desert — 5 years ago
Spectacular. Love the acidity, Lyme and rock notes, Apple, pear with a dry finish. Completely different than any Riesling we have ever had — 6 years ago

Found it in my wine fridge and wasn’t sure it was still drinkable. Cork was iffy, but came out well after some effort. Not even on the decline yet, very robust showing with red and dark fruits and a good solid foundation. Very enjoyable and could have probably stored this another 5 years. — 15 days ago
