Another rewarding first exposure to an unusual varietal. Born of Pinot Noir crossed to an unknown grape, this has darkish purple color and a savory fruity nose somewhat like an earthy Pinot on the wild side. Excellent lift and energy on palate with nice balance of acids and fruits. Medium finish. Great food wine with chicken ala Wang! Another good AA 13 and normally an under ever twenty value. 13ABV and light on its feet.
