This is so good and complex. After an hour it opened up. Good acidity. Tropical, saline, stone fruit. So lovely. Turning into one of my favorite Sicilian wineries — 10 months ago
Nice medium body, with earthy tones and great tannic structure. Love what some oak imparts on Etna Rosso wines. — 10 years ago

Light/medium bodied red wine with bright fruits. Black cherry, strawberry, pomegranate coal or dusty rock. Bright strawberry on the nose. Light/medium tannins. — 4 years ago
Wow. Takes me back to my Italian days. Such a combination of flavor and drinkability. Rich yet light. Blackberry and citrus peel. Tingle on the tongue. Would pair with anything from the grill or brick oven pizza. — 11 years ago

Etna Rosso a nerello mascalese + cappuccio blend. Tannins holding their grip on the fruits, you do get those hints of berry extracts but the ashy rocky terroir is definitely dominating the profile. — 6 years ago

Hot damn. Maybe the best Italian wine I tasted on this trip. In the pocket. Smoky, spiced red fruits and dense mineral undertones. Reminds me of good Aglianico. Volcanic soils. Amazing at 12 with plenty of time left. — 7 days ago
