Dry Pinot Grigio 2022

Skin contact Slovenian Pinot Grigio. Beautiful light copper/peach color. Aromas and flavors of ripe pear, melon and nectarines. Additional notes of minerals and yeast. Nice creamy texture. Full flavored and nice mouthfeel. Crisp acidity. Very dry, delicate and quite fresh tasting. Wonderful complexity. Great quality for the price. — 23 days ago

Enderle & Moll

Weiss & Grau Burgunder Weißburgunder Grauburgunder 2022

Very accessible orange wine without any hint of being overly “natural”. Crisp and the bit of skin contact gives it just enough body and texture to be interesting. — 8 months ago

Nose full of brett. The orange to end all oranges. They were worried it’d be too funky for us! — 3 years ago

Fuoripista Vigneti delle Dolomiti Pinot Grigio 2022

Check out the color on the skin contact PG from the dolomites (right near where my dad grew up in northern Italy. I love Italian whites from this region and this “rosé” is exceptional. 12.5% abv. $22 — 6 months ago

Contacto Monção & Melgaço Alvarinho 2023

Exclusively from their vineyards in the northern part of Vinho Verde, Monção and Melgaço. I’ve been there! That’s where I accidentally got up two hours early cause my clock switched to Spain time and I thought that meant I'dn need to get up an hour early. Contacto has a little more skin contact than average, turning up with a slight texture and friendly bitter bite. On the nose, it’s fresh lemon zest, wet stone and whetstone, with a bit of white flower. The palate is utterly thirst-quenching, veering into dried apricot territory and a bit of (as I said above) fun bitterness countering the fruit. It all wraps up with a sluice of salinity. Fun, fun, fun! — 7 months ago
