Of the older wines I have been pulling from my collection this is one of the real stars! Plump and sexy with aromas of blackberry jam, white pepper, toast and Asian spices. On the palate the richness of the tannins harmonizes with the finesse of the acidity. Black cherry , ripe blackberry, black currant, plum compote and sage finish with finish that lingers like the crack of a whip. It leaves a lasting impression! — 5 years ago
Beautiful old world toast character. Fat, round, kind of closed up. Brooding presence and demand for recognition. — 8 years ago
A little austere in a good way. A bit of Alsace in here, rubber and band aid. But lovely elegance and minerality and general Chablis character. — 9 years ago
Tropical notes over take on this, which makes it really enjoyable. Not a ton of oak. Love it! — 5 years ago
