Safran Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc 2011

Drank at Rucola in cobble hill. Lovely round stone fruit butterscotch but subtle. 2011 they charged $37 for the bottle, $17 for the glass. Chenin blanc. Dessert wine but not too sweet. — 3 years ago

Klasika Sauvignon

Completely insane, absolutely opaque unfiltered orange wine from the Czech Republic which tastes like a peach cobble that's been dragged behind a horse, really great. I mean, its juice rather than wine in some ways, but I'm into that aspect of it. — 8 years ago

Savuto (Classico) Gaglioppo Blend 2014

i have had a love affair with this wine for going on 10 years now thanks to a recommendation from a wine store on court street in cobble hill. its a $15 wine i keep coming back to. the unusual grape blend is immediately apparent when you taste this one (45% gaglioppo, 15% greco nero, 15% nerollo capucchio, 15% magliocco canino and 10% sangiovese) so its just a completely unique flavor profile for me. lots of black olive on the nose and black olive, tar, and prunes on the palate. goes great with garlic-y italian food. — 6 years ago
