Very flavorful and bright blend from Spain! Bought at BP. Maybe buy again. — a year ago
Another adventure with an obscure grape. You never know what you're going to get when you pop the cork on a wine like this, but I was not disappointed one bit. It had a great freshness about it with notes of earth, dried herbs, and tart cherry. Will definitely track this one down again in the future! 100% Trepat. 8/19/22. — 3 years ago
Vintage 2006 | Carlos Esteva is passionate for Pomerol. He plants merlot in the Spanish Penedes region in 1981. Special wine that is aged in barrels for 12 months and rests in bottle for 16 years before release. Multi layered smell with milkchocolate, tobacco, licorice and clove. A very pronounced character with super long aftertaste. Potential, says my notes. — 3 days ago

I really enjoy it. Light and straight to the point as a sparkling. Feel like I could drink this at length. — 5 months ago
Catalan wine tasting #4
So juicy & fresh, with red fruit brilliance. Very piedmontese in character with a slightly fruitier edge.
Strawberries, raspberries, with a proper tannic, juicy grip. Fresh acidity.
Truly lovely. A v. pleasant discovery! — 2 years ago
Intriguing. Soft and silky after some air. A bit grapey. Kind of reads like inexpensive Pinot. Easy to see why it’s mainly used for sparkling. — 5 years ago

wow this had some serious funk upon opening, thought it might be a bit of Brett, but it turned to barnyard and then to just earthiness - deep ruby, semi-opaque, showed plenty of terroir, mineral "schistiness" along with delicate ripe red fruit, smoke, pepper, savory herbs and some florals. med bodied on palate, nice acidity & polish - very engaging and approachable style. dried herbs, red & black fruit, white pepper and plenty of minerality. cerebral entry level Priorato that is a pretty good bargain — 12 days ago
