Domaine Latour-Giraud

Champs Canet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2015

Heady rich and complex aromatics: cinema buttered popcorn, orange citrus oil, ripe mushroom, sweet baking spices. Rich tongue coating palate has all that plus warmed buttered and spiced nuts, sweet orange rind, candied lemon slice, lemon pie, fresh dill, ripe white nectarine, nectarine stone, wet river stone. Thankful to see a touch of green in the honeyed golden hues, because the ripe developed notes and lack of Puligny acid precision hinted at premox initially. Perhaps not a long life ahead instead, but beautiful now. — a year ago

Les Vins Pirouettes Pinot Noir

It is glou glou but it wasn’t without structure! Had that special forest floor pinot noir character and of course tons of nice red fruit. Fun late night cinema wine! — a year ago

Quinta da Garrida Reserva Dão Red Blend 2015

Drank it after about five other bottles on Fri before Secret Cinema. Remember thinking it is good, need to revisit. Heavy, grown up but still elegant. — 8 months ago
