Chateau Beau Buisson

Buisson-Charles

Vieilles Vignes Meursault Chardonnay 2022

2022 vintage. Less tied down to the traditional Meursault stylings and just going for it. Light-medium body. Moments of beauty. Moments of leanness and linear qualities. Lemon curd and (subdued) tangerine two driving forces in the flavor profile. Plenty of acidity without tippling/tipping over the edge. 10.8.25. — 21 days ago

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot

Saint-Émilion 1er Grand Cru Classé Red Bordeaux Blend 2021

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2021
Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France 🇫🇷

Overview
A benchmark Right Bank Bordeaux and one of the most celebrated Grand Cru Classé estates of Saint-Émilion. The blend typically centers on Merlot (about 80%), with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon providing lift and structure. The 2021 vintage reflects the cooler, more classic style of the year, showing freshness and restraint compared to warmer vintages.

Aromas & Flavors
Bright and elegant with aromas of red currant, raspberry, and wild strawberry layered with violets, graphite, and savory spice. On the palate, the wine unfolds with fine red fruits, black cherry, and plum, accented by notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, and crushed stones.

Mouthfeel
Medium to full-bodied with refined tannins and a polished texture. Fresh acidity drives a long, mineral finish, showcasing the limestone plateau terroir that Saint-Émilion is famous for.

Winemaking Notes
Hand-harvested fruit, traditional vinification, and a judicious use of French oak barrels (both new and seasoned) highlight balance and elegance over sheer power. The limestone soils of the plateau contribute to the precision and minerality in the wine.

Food Pairing
A natural companion for roasted lamb, duck breast, or earthy mushroom dishes. Also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses and refined charcuterie.

Verdict
Château Beau-Séjour Bécot 2021 is a classic expression of Saint-Émilion — elegant, structured, and terroir-driven. A vintage that emphasizes finesse and freshness, it is enjoyable now with decanting but has the pedigree to age gracefully. Cheers!

Beau Vigne

Juliet Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2006 Juliet pours a deep garnet/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated dark fruits: cassis, blackberries, plums, tobacco, leather, mixed dead flowers, old wood, organic earth and fine warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (integrated) and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with an attractive, plush texture. This is in a really good spot and fully mature. Drink now through 2031. — 4 months ago

Beau Vigne

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Beau Vigne Heirloom Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley. Multi-vintage blend: 2019 / 2021 / 2022

A beautifully composed Cabernet that blends elegance with character. On the nose, it’s aromatic, perfumed, and charming, offering inviting black fruit, hints of toasted oak, and subtle floral tones. The palate is balanced and expressive, with a rounded tannin structure, bright acidity, and just the right touch of fruit-forward richness without being overpowering.

The long, smooth finish ties it all together, showcasing Beau Vigne’s signature style—refined, polished, and deeply satisfying.
