From my goldfish-like memory, this was quintessential burg, with the usual nosebleed coming along for the ride. Notes of crème brûlée combine with a waxy mouthfeel. Muted acidity indicates that you need to be in a certain frame of mind to approach this. — 2 years ago
On a cold night at the summer cottage. Took some time to open up and reveal itself. Going from white fruit such as apple and pear to start with to more buttery and honey aromas. The palate after that early muteness revealed itself brilliantly with nice backbone and structure, some richness and purity of fruit, with a long delicious mouth watering finish. Really good and very classy.
Par un soir gris et froid au chalet. A pris un peu de temps à s’ouvrir au nez comme en bouche mais a su ratrapper le temps perdu. Passant de la pomme et de la poire à un côté plus miellé et beurré avec le temps. La bouche au départ fermée et peu expressive a su se révéler avec une acidité et une belle droiture de corps, tout en ayant une richesse et une classe indéniable, sur une longueur intéressante et salivante.
