From my goldfish-like memory, this was quintessential burg, with the usual nosebleed coming along for the ride. Notes of crème brûlée combine with a waxy mouthfeel. Muted acidity indicates that you need to be in a certain frame of mind to approach this.

Surprisingly crisp for this AOC. Yes some well integrated oak and pineapple ripe fruit character. But also a good acid backbone with lemon citrus at the forefront.
