Had with kungpao chicken. Larry gave it 98 for this meal, not impressive otherwise. Consumer on 5/26/21. Nice bouquet, full body, low to medium tannin, but still moderate acidity, drinkable 25 minutes after opening. Will try opening 90 minutes by air next time. — 5 years ago

Pleasant enough with Super Bowl leftovers. At home in Anaheim Hills (no longer an option on the “Where are you? “ pull down list). — 7 years ago
With tough chad at #drownedwinedinner i think. Had a case of this stuff, rather spectacular. Old and aged but in all the right ways. Downright milfy. — 9 years ago

Pitch black coco and blueberry. Fine structure of tannins. This has 10 more in the tank. Chad thumbs up! — 9 years ago

Ripe mountain fruit with a kiss of oak that is still quite tight and structured, very well-balanced, long, lingering finish, best yet of the 3 bottles we’ve opened, I should have let this slumber another 35 years at least!! — 5 months ago
