"the geology and elevation give bright aromatics in fresh toothsome flavors to this rose wine, a hand-harvested blend of Cinsault 40%, Grenache 30%, Syrah 20%, Mourvedre 10%. It's rose but it's not your typical pinkish hue. It's paler, like wallpaper bleached by the sun. you will find hints of black fruit, a product of the razor sharp schist rock that makes up the top layer of soil in this region. aficionados of the language dark region instantly spot that telltale trace of garrigue - the bushy fragrant vegetation that grows on the Mediterranean." — 7 years ago
Top end Faugeres in excellent shape, though still a good 6-8 years from its peak. Just returning from a dumb phase and heavy with blackberries, pumbs, pepper, and hints of leather and oak (though not too much). Glad I bought a few cases of this from them at the Fête de Bacchus back in 2009. — 8 years ago

Rich Rhône red blend at The Butcher Shop in the South End, Boston — 6 years ago
Very good vintage for this wine. One of my favourite from the Fete this year. Elegant yet dense, with blackberries (and leaf), black plumb skins, and fine black pepper on the nose. Good acidity and robust tannins (a positive thing). Will drink well now or from 4-5 years. — 8 years ago

A really soft wine with a nice taste. Totally Organic plantation in Languedoc. Low acid makes it perfect for all occasions. — 11 years ago

Yummy wine in hot evening — 11 years ago
100% single vineyard Merlot. Dark burgundy in color, smell of tobacco, dried fig, dried dates, cacao, dark berries and spice, still tannic, needed more air, but is already approachable, a common trait of 2009. It is a bold wine with a long finish. — 13 years ago
