Château Mourgues du Gres

Terre d'Argence Costières-de-Nîmes Red Rhone Blend 2016

Big nose of perfumed red fruit, new french oak, and blackberry with a bit of brett. The palate features spicy red fruit, ripe blackberry, cinnamon, clove, oak, and cocoa. High alcohol, moderate to moderate plus tannins, and high acid. — 5 days ago

Fleur d'Eglantine Costières-de-Nîmes Rosé Blend 2014

2019 vintage. Costières de Nîmes AOC. Organic farming. A blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah (and Carignan in some vintages). Light salmon colour. Rather timid flowery nose with a hint of watermelon. Juicy watermelon and white peach fruit in the mouth, round and fresh with a mineral/spicy finish. Very good value at 9.50 euro. Abv. 13%. — 3 months ago

Grand Cru Wiebelsberg "Gres Rose" Riesling

Strikingly fragrant nose and intense palate. Juicy palate that finishes bone dry, stony and lengthy. Crunchy tart apple and citrus. Stand out amongst six Grand Crus from the same vintage and producer. — 7 months ago

Very complex fruit colors, hints of blue, black, red and even some white and yellow fruits, plus strong lavender and mediterranean flowers and stoniness. The plushness of texture is complemented by well-integrated tannins and acidities. — 5 months ago
