Château Mourgues Du Gres

Château Mourgues du Gres

Galets Rosés Costières-de-Nîmes Rosé Blend 2021

Watermelon and some bubble gum character up front. But great concentration- a lot of fruit, candy, texture, depth. Some sweetness. This is a rosé to drink now or age. — 2 months ago

Château Mourgues du Gres

Terre d'Argence Costières de Nîmes Red Rhône Blend 2016

Dark fruit and barnyard funk on the nose. The palate is dark cherry, cola, cinnamon, cranberry, plum, and earthy notes. Nice minerals, high alcohol, medium tannins, and high acid. — a year ago

Domaine Gres St. Vincent

Côtes du Rhône Red Rhône Blend

Great natural Grenache/Syrah blend. Mildly funky, ripe stone fruit, chalky earth, black pepper notes. Great food or table wine. — 3 years ago

Grand Cru Wiebelsberg "Gres Rose" Riesling

Strikingly fragrant nose and intense palate. Juicy palate that finishes bone dry, stony and lengthy. Crunchy tart apple and citrus. Stand out amongst six Grand Crus from the same vintage and producer. — 3 years ago

Gres de Montpellier 2011

2011. Penultimate bottle of the nine I purchased. I was making a bacon, spinach, and goat cheese frittata for dinner and wanted a red wine to go with it… I thought Loire Cabernet Franc would be great, but there were none in my cellar (need to fix that), so this mellowed out Grenache blend worked great! — 6 months ago
