Château La Rame

Le P'tit Jules... Cabardès Syrah Grenache

Very transparent raspberry red, dried fruits on the nose but not very fragrant. Well rounded tannins, easy to drink as an aperitif — 3 months ago

Château La Rame

La Charmille Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Slight floral (red and purple flower) on the nose, tomato leaves, dried thyme, sage leaves, black cherry, licorice, dark plum, slightly smoky, high tannin, med plus acidity,!a bit irony, slightly vanilla. Classic Boudreaux. Give it couple years could be splendid! — 7 years ago

Gourmandise White Bordeaux Blend

A very nine wine, but would be best after dinner as a desert wine as it was very sweet like a Sauternes. — 9 years ago

Château Ducasse

White Bordeaux Blend 2013

Nose has green melon rind, over-ripe peach, orange pith, pink salt slab, golden raisins, dehydrated apricots and celery leaf; Improvement with extended air.

Palate has dried lemon, candied pineapple, warm clementine orange wedge, peach skin, dehydrated peach, wet sand, medium acidity and finish.

This bottle is in a nice spot today, but not up to par with the Ch. La Rame (outstanding showing) today.

$14 Jul 2015; buy and cellar inexpensive Bordeaux Blanc, be very happy later when the acidity settles...

Hold future bottles 2023-25.

@Andrew Schirmer We started experimenting with aging out B-B a few years before buying these '13's, and for us, there was improvement in dropping out some of the acidity. Since, we've been buying and cellaring for down the road, so to speak.
