One of my all time favorite Zin producers!!! Big strawberry nose, with cedar closet and new leather. Blueberry emerges on the palate. Spherical. Perfect body, tannins. A truly beautiful wine.

Nose has dehydrated cherry, fresh raspberry, slightly smokey oak, old cedar closet, dried strawberry, over wintered mint, dried eucalyptus and dried blackberry.

Palate has delicate cherry + raspberry, semi-dried blueberry, fresh strawberry, cedar sawdust with still notable tannins.

Being hesitant, we only decanted about 20m before dinner, needs much more time in the decanter/glass, as after an hour it's finally starting to show it's worth. — 5 years ago

So strange and unlike anything else. Underripe mango, lemon, honeydew, apple, and kiwi, with kerosene, pine needles, grandma’s closet, and wet concrete. A challenging wine... some people at the table couldn’t get behind it, but I loved it. Wonderful complexity. — 4 years ago
