2009, Domaine Des Cretes, Vieilles Vignes Cuvée Des Varennes Beaujolais Gamay. Last bottle of this and it has aged well. Very dark and extracted, more like a Cru beau than a regional wine. Lots of red fruit with some tannins. This was good with or without food. — 10 years ago

Fairly basic Savennières but quite a nice budget option. Bright lemony acidity, tart yellow nectarine, toasty hay and almond. Opens nicely as it gets to room temperature. — 2 months ago
