Château De Schengen

Domaines Vinsmoselle

Coteaux de Schengen Grand 1er Cru Auxerrois

Very light bodies wine wigh tropical fruits/citrus nose. Similar to a light Chardonnay, very easy to drink. For those who love light slightly fruit wine, balanced acidity. Great for a picnic — 2 years ago

Schengen Markusberg Moselle Luxembourgeoise Pinot Gris 2009

Premier Grand Cru from the upper Mosel in Luxembourg. 2009 vintage.
Citrus, stone fruit, white peach, some floral notes, glycerin, coating your mouth.
Very nice.
Thx Gerome. :-)

Let’s give it up for Luxembourg. I used to drink a dry Riesling from there a lifetime ago & was always impressed w it’s refinement-like a good Alsatian @Anthony De Blasi

Coteaux Schengen Grand Premier Cru Riesling 2012

Quince, honey, hay, some burnt rubber on the nose. Wonderfully bright acidity to support a full body where all the notes in the nose are translated into a delicious blend, with some pineapple thrown in there too. Long satisfying finish. Alsace style so on the dry side, but not bone dry. Great ageing potential, im sure. — 10 years ago
