Château Clerc Milon

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

Much more traditional in style in comparison to the d'armailhac. Much more approachable in its youth. Bright lovely red fruit, highlighted balance and complexities. — 4 years ago

Yoeman Vineyard Single Vineyard Selection Cabernet Sauvignon

Holy crap this wine blew me away. Started off with a bit of an understated nose, but as it opened up in the glass, it was ALL menthol, mint, and eucalyptus. I kid you not, it smelled like I had accidentally dropped a piece of Dentyne Ice gum in the glass. Stunning aromatics. Actually reminds me of a bottle of '05 d'Armailhac I had a few months back because of that menthol on the nose. Balanced and firm on the palate. Drinking really well. Snatch it up if you can find it. — 3 years ago

Château Mouton-Baronne-Philippe

Pauillac en hommage a Pauline Red Bordeaux Blend 1988

David T

Cooked fruits of blackberries, dark cherries, plum, black raspberries, cherries, strawberries, rhubarb, green pepper, vegetal mix, core of anise, rich semi-sweet black earth, stones, dry floral bouquets and a long elegant burnt caramel fruit finish with amazing acidity. After this vintage, this property was renamed d'Armailhac. Out of magnum. — 3 years ago
