65% Grillo/35% Carricante. Well balanced. Perfect with pork — 7 years ago
I believe that Carricante has the potential to be this good, but I can't think of a white wine from Etna I've found this beautiful. — 9 years ago
Golden delicious apples, citrus, stones, soft tannins and medium plus acidity. Better than it’s been. — 9 months ago
Old building on the label of this older wine. Not sure I’ve had aged Nero d’avola. Dark still with little rust on the edge. Smells Italian. Cherry juice and wood. Maybe slightest of menthol. Flavors are kinda old book and cooked cherry. Maybe leather and wood. It’s not lost much since 2012. This is holding up fine and tastes pretty fine as well. — 4 years ago
