Nose has raspberry jam in a charred barrel, black currant juice, charred red pepper, wet leather, fresh clay pottery and moist, earthy soil.
Palate has ripe black currant, ripe blackberry, huckleberry and dried blackberry, with a medium tannic grip remaining. Likely this bottle could easily see a 15th or 20th b-day under proper storage conditions.
Alas our final bottle, it's been a stellar performer at btwn $15-17 in retail settings, about 6-8 years ago, have not seen this bottling in a while. We used to have some 2003, but that's long gone also.

Thus was a 2021 and it had the taste of grapefruit and was smooth. Great with food/fish or just drinking alone. It reminded me of Sauvignon Blanc but a little heavier. Very drinkable! — 2 years ago

indigenous 3 🍇 varieties Portuguese blend.
half of grapes met oak.
fruity (mostly citrus variety including lime, grapefruit and some oranges) and generous, yet elegant and restrained. salty.
it presents a well made story, but it's not my fave genre.
a few more years will improve it, I'm certain. — 4 years ago
