Wow. Very surprised how delicious this is. Fragrant nose has beautiful pear/quince fruit, a gentle stony minerality, and yellow flowers. Round, mouthfilling, soft, balanced. Good concentration and length. Really well done and super fresh for a 6 year old Soave. — a month ago
The 2016 Soave Classico La Froscà is rich and alluring with notes of dried peach, sweet white flowers and honeyed almonds. It displays wonderful clarity and poise while stimulating the senses with bright acids and minerals before settling on ripe orchard fruits. A twang of sour citrus and apricot resonates throughout the long and almost salty finish. I tasted the 2016 over the course of two days and it only got better each time I revisited it. The La Froscà matures in a combination of 80% steel tanks and 20% barriques, yet there’s not a hint of wood here. (Eric Guido, Vinous February 2021)

Despite not being akin to white wines, this one was delightful. Light, refreshing, with almost a grassy and earthy tone. It would be perfect throughout summer. — 14 days ago

Pale lemon. Aromas of melon, white pepper, dried grass.
Dry, medium alcohol, high acidity, medium body.
Flavors are similar to aromas with nice minerality, and salinity. The prickly acidity is beautifully balanced with a finish of juicy honeydew melon fruit.
First time trying this wine and we're really enjoying the interesting aromas. — a month ago

This is a lean, crisp, mineral-driven wine made from the Garganega grape. 💕 Its provenance is from Soave Classico DOC region of Veneto, Italy. 🇮🇹
It is light-bodied, youthful, and offers fresh stone fruit, such as tart peach 🍑 , apricot, also citrus, such as tangerine and lemon peel 🍋 along with baby's breath, dried herb, and saline 🐚 notes on the nose and palate. It also has notable inorganic notes such as wet slate. This wine is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. It has a medium finish.
It's an easy sipper. 👍👍 We're pairing this wine with a ricotta and spinach ravioli with a citrus dressing alongside sauteed shrimp and asparagus. It's going very nicely.
