The aromatic profile is immediately inviting with ripe red cherries, red plum, strawberry, violets, leather, licorice, and hint of tobacco. Medium to full body. The palate is darker and more brooding than the nose suggests, but acidity provides a refreshing backbone. Tannins are fine-grained but need time to integrate.

Same experience as the Salvioni Rosso, but even tighter here. 2 days later, it’s giving much more. Nose is still subdued, more leather. Brighter fruit and spice. Going to give the rest of these the years of rest they deserve — 2 months ago
