Previous vintages of this wine have had 15% Pinot Noir but this is 100% Barbera. Again, made to be had with food. Low tannins high acid. Juicy. Sweetish palate. No noticeable oak influence. — 9 years ago

インク、スミレ、少々バルサミックな香り。ボリューム感のある甘美な果実味。上品で奥行きのある酸と旨味が口全体に広がる。
これくらいの値段になると通常バリック熟成になってくるが、これは3000ℓの大樽らしく、樽のニュアンスではなく、葡萄の持ち味で豊かさを出しているのは素晴らしい。

Served slightly chilled, flavor profile shows ripe dark plums, some nice underlying minerality, and enough structure to support aging another 3-5 years (I’ve gradually come around to the view that well-made Dolcettos, like some Cru Beaujolais, can age quite well), very good!! — 9 months ago
