Original cuvée. Syrah in carbonic maceration. Not filtered, not glued, without added sulphur. A surprising light colour when you know the usual colours of the grape variety. The nose is generously marked by fruits and flowers. The mouth is juicy, aerial, explosive, dominated by the primary aromas and the purity of the fruit. Fine, supple and digestible texture. The day after it gains in scale and finesse in a beautiful nuanced balance reminiscent of Burgundy or the most aerial wines of Beaujolais. A wine that is not as obvious as it seems that it takes time to reveal itself.

Cuvée originale. Syrah en maceration carbonique. Non filtré, non collé, sans apport de souffre. Robe surprenante de légèreté quand on connaît les couleurs habituelles du cépage. Le nez est généreusement marqué par les fruits et les fleurs. La bouche est juteuse, aérienne, explosive, dominé par les arômes primaires et la pureté du fruit. Texture fine, souple et digeste. Le jour d’après il gagne en ampleur et finesse dans un très bel équilibre nuancé qui rappelle la Bourgogne ou les crus les plus aériens du Beaujolais. Tasted blind, 4 wines, 3 varietals. The 3 of us had the same ranking in terms if the wines, this one came in no 1 for all of us. Expressive typical Chard nose of lemon, touch of butter, slight oak but nothing disturbing, nice acidity, tense and saline, mineral, just enough roundness to make it a good balance, excellent and great level for a St-Romain. 90-91

Dégustation à l’aveugle, 4 vins pour 3 cépages afin de trouver le cépage. Tout le monde a eu le même classement sur les 4 vins, No 1 pour les 3 dégustateurs. Un nez typé Chardo, assez expressif, citron, touche boisée, tendu et salin, minéral avec juste assez de rondeur et richesse, quel bel équilibre, très beau niveau. 90-91

Diolonoir: another grape variety typical of Switzerland. Dark and purple color, brilliant. On the nose, black fruits (blackcurrant) dominate. It's a superb balance between density and freshness. With a good length, this is a wine that can age pleasantly over 5, 8 years.

A lot of fun with this beautiful Cab-Franc de Loire. Dark, shiny purple color. open nose on black fruits and mineral touches of graphite. The green notes that are sometimes found prominently on this grape are discreet and let express a beautiful round and lively juice that magnifies the fruit. It is a magnificent natural wine, unfiltered. Favorite 💓

Énormément de plaisir avec ce beau Cab-Franc de Loire. Robe violine sombre, brillante. nez ouvert sur les fruits noirs et touches minérales de graphites. Les notes vertes qu’on trouve parfois sur ce cépage de manière proéminente sont discrètes et laissent s’exprimer un beau jus rond et vif qui magnifie le fruit. 2nd bottle and still so much pleasure. The well-worked Tannat grape brings notes of black plums; a mineral touch reminiscent of carbon or chemical smoke (not unpleasant), completed with a gourmet chocolate side, and notes reminiscent of pine or cedar sap or eucalyptus. The palate is supple and round with a lot of volume. The wine can still age for several years if we judge by the aromatic density. The tertiary woody touches are well melted, this is a good beefy and greedy bottle which will go as well with a chocolate desert as with a duck breast. Sweet and sour cooking will also go very well.

2eme bouteille et toujours autant de plaisir. Le cépage Tannat délivre des notes originales de prunes noires; une touche minérale rappelant le carbone, la fumée chimique (pas désagréable), complété d’un côté chocolaté gourmand, et des notes évoquant la sève de pin ou cèdre ou l’eucalyptus. La bouche est souple et ronde avec beaucoup de volume. Le vin pourra encore vieillir plusieurs années si on en juge par la densité aromatique. Les touches tertiaires boisées sont bien fondues. Un vin costaud et gourmand, qui ira aussi bien sur un désert chocolaté qu’un magret de canard. la cuisine sucrée/salée ou aigre doux ira très bien également. — 4 years ago
