Loved this wine in Maine 2019. Bought at grape d'vine. — 5 years ago
Not a “Bordeaux guy” but that may be because I don’t/can’t get my hands on the real stuff. This was pretty revelatory. More floral and delicate and sensuous than I could’ve imagined for a broad category our server called “cigar-box.” — 6 years ago
Tasting group meet up with many of the regulars not able to attend . I knew the organizer invited someone whom we had not tasted with in about 15 years . He certainly made an entrance bringing this, in magnum no less. When poured it showed a fine mousse but it faded quickly. A very broad nose that hinted of some age. In the mouth it was like a sports car traveling a highway. Almond , brioche and some oxidative notes sped thru my mouth. The flavors accelerated only to linger similar to when you take your foot off the accelerator. Coasted effortlessly with no need to step on the brakes — 8 months ago
Knife-throwing act where the knives are carved from peppercorns and the target board is quilted cherry. Westworld's Clementine casually offers herself as a target, laughing and alternating between espresso and whiskey shots. — 6 years ago
Quite light straw colour , very fine persistent mousse . Quite discreet on the nose at first , then camomile , white flowers then deeper yellow fruits, brioche and citrus peel . More yellow fruits on palate , citrus peel. Dense , broad shouldered and mouth filling are all adjectives that come to mind but all balanced by good acidity, tension, plus lots of backbone . More mineral with slightly toasty brioche touches on the finish, good length , though not as long as the Bollinger Grande Année 2014 had last week. Really young , needs time but shows it’s quality . Better in 7- 10 years , I would imagine , will plateau for a further 10 at least — 2 years ago

Excellent. Well blended. Fruity hint of plum and black cherries to me. Rather delicious wine. Highly recommended. Had many bottles in SA — 5 months ago
