Quite nice for such a young wine . A lot of tannins, will certainly further improve with the years — 10 years ago
Coonawarra Cab's Part 3: the refined ones! Combining the good up-bringing from my previous post with, much more balance & poise gave this selection much more individuality and personality. The Wynns Alex 88 was the wine of the line up at $70. The Brands Laira the value wine of the line u at $20 followed closely by the Rymill at $25 with the Katnook somewhere in between at $35. #FilthyNowVino #Wine #Coonawarra — 11 years ago

Part of the 40 wine blind tasting at the Downs Club and in my Top 5. Highly aromatic red and blue fruits. Outstanding in a 2nd tasting over the weekend. A wonderful young Cabernet from a good vintage in Coonawarra. I gave it 95 points on Thursday night and stuck with that rating from the half empty bottle yesterday. When we checked the Landed Unit cost of only $17 this will become the lesser priced Club Red yet worthy of the Premium Red. I can’t remember enjoying a young Cabernet as much as this. — 6 years ago
