Borgo Al Sole

Bricco al Sole

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Dark ruby core with a garnet rim. The nose is full of aromas of dried cherry, violets, rose petals and leather. Dark cherry, cranberry and raspberry fruit flavors. Hint of black pepper on the short finish. Medium bodied with light tannins and mouth watering acidity. No evidence of oak aging. Basic “pizza wine,” but quite gulpable. Excellent QPR. — 10 months ago

Fiorini

Terre al Sole Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro 2017

Nice, lightly sparkling lambrusco. Deep red fruit w smoky black cherries and nice tannic action. Really enjoyed it. A little empty on the end of the palate. Went well w some food too. — 6 years ago

Prati al Sole

Lambro

Wonderful pool drink. Fizzy and bubbly. Tart and refreshing. Very different than either a red or a bubbly white. Thicker fizz. Better than sangria on a hot sunny day. Rated on what it is, not vs a fine red. — 3 years ago
