Vintage 2019 | good advice, to combine this wine with several saucissons (au truffle, canard poivre very, aux cepes). The frivolous acidity plays a game with the fat of the French sausages. Hints of strawberries. The acidity remind me of geuze beers. Vibrant. Playful. A dangerous wine, as my wife and I saw the bottle dwindle in half an hour. Top notch summer wine. — 2 years ago
Delicious wine from one of my favorite regions from one of my favorite years - when I met G. Dug into this one at Leb’s for closing day. Smooth tannins near the finish, balanced & dry yet full of flavor. Monferrato forever. — 2 months ago
Brambly berry pie, watermelon, delicate effervescent. Perfect Lambrusco for a warm day or apero hour.

This wine pours up dark purple, with a matching head about one finger tall. It’s a pretty pour. The nose is more complex than your garden variety grocery store Lambrusco. There is a ton of fruit showing, like cherry and strawberry flavors a la Jolly Rancher. The palate has darker fruit, black plum, currant and licorice. It’s fizzy for just awhile, so get your bubble thing on in a hurry. — 4 months ago
Getting extra points for a new varietal. Nose is almost missing. Vanilla custard and lemon curd on the tongue. Then the nose of of hot summer yellow flowers shows up. Viscous with moderate acidity. Right on the border between round and flabby or bright bitting citrus you put in a meringue. Lovely on a hot day with salty cheese. Costco find. — a year ago
