Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nose of black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and peppercorn.
Full bodied and elegant with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth, light vegetables, peppercorn and pencil lead.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a delicious Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Rich and spicy. Soft and elegant.
This 7 year old feels young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. However, it is already drinking beautifully.
Complex, tangy and interesting. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Needs 2 hours of airtime to open up properly.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
15% alcohol by volume.

An OK wine with our meals. €15 from the restaurant wine list. — 4 years ago
Solid wine. Very good nose of oak and red fruits, you can somehow sense it's a wine with some class and age. It has a warm and full palate, with long lingering finish. It has a good bite and aroma on its own. — 6 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black currants, cherries, sweet strawberries, light oak, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, earth, herbs, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, chocolates, coffee, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, oak, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a nice surprise. This 7 year old Tempranillo from Spain is drinking very nicely now.
Nicely balanced and tangy, with a nice mouthfeel. Fruit forward and enjoyable by itself or with food.
This 100% Tempranillo is good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (30 minutes), and shows some tannins. Becomes very tangy on the mid palate, after 2 hours in the decanter.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of cheeses and light appetizers.
14% alcohol by volume.

Still very primary, brimming with blackberry fruit. Well balanced structure, refreshing acidity, moderate alcohol and very present tannins. Generously oaked but the intensity of the fruit keeps things balanced. — 9 years ago

Ganache? No, Tinta from limestone soil. Raspberry jam. Acidic + first. Tannic second. Fresh. 2nd day felt peak. Rounded and smooth. Fruity. Concentration. Miros de Ribera Vendimia Selleccionada from Ribera del Duero 20 @1600, Karla, 241102 — 2 years ago
