I'm not too familiar with Spanish wines. This one I found quite pleasant and mildly acidic. I liked it more than the pros apparently. — 8 years ago
Chardonesk-like varietal native to The Northewestern Iberian peninsula… Pale lemon on the eye with aromas of green pear, smith granny apple, but also hints of white flowers and rosemary. The palate is very similar to a high quality White Burgundy: medium body, medium alcohol, silky, creamy, with refreshing citrus like acidity and a lingering oaky-smoky-vanillish finish… Over the top for my expectations and budget. Cheers! — 3 months ago
Awesome wine. Also had the 2009. — 7 years ago
Green apple, lime, lemon, thyme, white pepper, grass, quince, and new oak. High acid, medium alcohol, medium bodied, and long finish with nice salinity and minerality. — 6 months ago
A beautiful blend of mostly Mencia that will please lovers of profiles in the realm of cool-climate Syrah. Blueberries, leather, black pepper snuff, beef jerky, and a residue of dried salty seaweed. Tannins you could chew like taffy as you noodle on concentrations of wild blueberry, dark cherry, mushroom, chocolate and chicory root coffee. — 3 years ago
Great white. Had with jambalaya and roast chicken. Would definitely have in the house regularly. — 7 years ago
