Acquadoro 2011 Maremma Toscana IGP Bianca 100% Viogner — 13 years ago
It's a great blend. The initial sip was tart cherry which very quickly tapered into a dry finish. Really a lively and unexpected wine. I would definitely recommend. Reminded me of Piazzo Barbera a bit. — 6 years ago
A Red Blend as close to a Tuscan house wine as any I've had in the States. Let breathe before serving, or serve in a carafe. — 11 years ago
Paired quite nicely with my berkshire pork chop. — 13 years ago

Delightful wine from Tenuta La Badiola. 100% Alicante, vinified in Franciacorta. It is an experiment not in commerce out of vinery and next year it will be ready the blend Alicante and Chardonnay. Beautiful wine, only in magnum size , 25 euros. — 13 years ago

This is the type of wine I really enjoy. Earthy, not too dry, not sweet. A little dry, but not to make you pucker, medium tannins, NOT fruit forward (thank god). It tastes like an Italian red wine. Served it with a bolognese-ish pasta. Worked well, very enjoyable. Sangiovese, merlot and petit verdot. — 2 months ago
