Strawberries and cream, nectarine, and maybe a hint of cracker. Palate is ripe and fruity with strawberry and stonefruit but it has good acidity.
A solid, well made sparkler. At this price I was hoping for a bit more complexity and autolytic character, but still good. — 4 years ago
Great value and good flavor dessert wine. 18.5% alcohol so it packs a punch. Candy aroma. Very sweet on the palate with subtle spiciness. Chocolate covered cherries and butterscotch - but with a mature leathery lingering finish. Bought in 2019 - consumed in 2021. — 4 years ago
Pale garnet robe. Incredible nose of honey, cream and strawberries. Strong taste honey, burnt sugar and candies strawberries with practically no tannin. Short finish. Amazing. — 7 years ago
SUPER delicious dry rosé Lambrusco. Ridiculously gulpable. Nose and palate like blood orange, raspberry, and strawberry cream hard candy, pure, riverbed stone minerality, and a slight bit of lager-y yeastiness. Fantastic with a margherita pizza. Screaming acid, light and delicately framed but with great texture from a fine bead of moderate-intensity bubbles. Like adult soda. This will be in my rotation a lot this summer, I'm sure. — 8 years ago

Easy to trust Realm’s offerings as quality is always at a premium. I have to admit, my brain had a hard time connecting this type of rosé with Realm (based on their typical style).
My comment above isn’t meant to be good or bad, it’s just amazing that this Provençal type rosé could come from a bigger/powerful style Napa producer like Realm. Kudos to Benoit for knowing what he was going for and being able to create something (a beautiful rosé) from almost nothing (the extremely uneven 2020 vintage). I don’t think I could have called this rosé of merlot if I didn’t know beforehand. To me, this was a blend of high end Provençal rosé with Cayuse’s Edith rosé. Extremely pale salmon color in the glass with aromas of cantaloupe, white peach, faint dragon fruit and an herbal/mineral stony character. The palate here has nice gravitas and a surprising bite at the finish. Strawberry cream-lite, underripe kiwi and some nectarine on the finish. Much more enjoyable at cellar temp compared to being too cold. Don’t think this is one to hold, so enjoy now. — 4 years ago

Dark ruby. Abundant nose of black cherry and medium black tea in a wooden bowl. Echoed on the silky smooth, medium full palate which adds medium acidity and a hint of black pepper. "Barely there" medium minus tannins round it all out making a classic premium California PN with just enough "stuff" for New World fare (like some weird salmon in cream sauce dish). Drink now. — a year ago
