Mouth watering acidity, beautifully balanced. My favorite wine this year. @Richard Betts and Carla Rzeszewski are really on to something here. — 10 years ago
Full and complex. Black pepper notes. Bought after listening to a Richard Betts interview and now feel like I know him a little bit better thru his wine. — 11 years ago
Fuckin yumtown! Plush, grapey, thick, primary with hints of development to come. Hopefully this bottle will last a few hours for further analysis — 12 years ago
Nicely sweet, not too dry — 12 years ago
Paired well with grilled beef. — 13 years ago
Richard Betts' Bordeaux. Really nice bottle of wine! Dark fruit, a bit of eucalyptus and minerality. A Bordeaux that Drake likes! The setting in Aspen only makes it better. — 13 years ago
@Ingrid Betts knows why. — 7 years ago

Killer wine! Fig, dates, nuttiness, and desiccated cherry. Find this in the secondary market if you can! — 9 years ago
Ever wonder what good wine tastes like. Some may think they know but Richard Betts has it right in his line of essential when pigs fly grocery wines. This is but another example of a drinkable effort..... Mostly Grenache with a little under a third raspberry this wine has soft raspberry notes with an underbrush old world feel to the wine. Bravo. — 11 years ago
'06. Bowls of fresh red raspberries and wild strawberries. Light on its toes but great depth and length throughout the finish. Always will remind me of Richard Betts' passion and teaching me about Grenache w purity. THX U! — 11 years ago

Lovely rose. Has fruit but still has the provencal grip that good french Rose should always bring to the table. The epitome of what Betts wants wine to be...”a grocery, not a luxury”...and a good grocery at that! — 5 years ago
